Meanwhile, Anuradha prays for Reet and Dhruv’s safety. She notices that the Diya has blown out and takes it as a bad omen.
Reet tries to hit the snake but misses. At the same time, the pandit asks the bride and groom to sit for the pooja. Raghav looks around and doesn’t see Reet. When he asks his family about her, Pratik says that maybe Reet is upset and avoiding Poonam’s happiness. Sharda tells Pratik that they should forgive Reet, as Raghav already has.
Anuradha calls Raghav and asks where Reet is. Raghav assures her that Reet must be around and promises to make her talk soon.
Suddenly, Raghav hears Reet shouting for help and rushes to the storeroom. He unlocks the door, but Reet warns him not to enter because of the snake. Raghav doesn’t believe her at first, but Reet points at the snake trail on the floor.
Raghav asks Reet to give him her hand and helps her down from the table. Just as they are about to leave, the snake bites Raghav on the hand. He steps out of the room but soon loses consciousness.
Reet desperately calls for help, but due to the loud dhol sounds, no one hears her. Seeing no other option, she decides to suck the poison out of Raghav’s wound. After some time, Raghav regains consciousness, and Reet tells him what she did to save his life. However, soon after, Reet faints.
Raghav carries Reet to his family and shouts for a doctor. Later, Raghav calls Anuradha and tells her that Reet is safe now. Anuradha thanks him, but Raghav tells her that it was actually Reet who saved his life.
Raghav then questions his family about how the snake got into the storeroom and who locked Reet inside. Sharda calls it a good omen since it is Maha Shivaratri, adding that maybe a servant locked the door by mistake.
Sharda then announces that they should prepare for the Maha Shivaratri pooja. Reet agrees, but Raghav insists that she should rest while others handle the arrangements. Sharda and the rest of the family leave.
Later, Sharda secretly calls Pooja and invites her to their house for the festival.
Meanwhile, Viren tells Sharda that Raghav is taking extra care of Reet. Sharda questions if Viren was the one who placed the snake in the storeroom and locked Reet inside. Viren denies it and walks away.
At night, Poonam thanks Viren for a surprise, and he flirts with her. Seeing them, Divya teases Pratik, saying they are the least romantic couple in the family. Pratik looks at Raghav and Reet and thinks that they are the most romantic couple.
As Raghav helps Reet walk to the hall, she sees her family and tries to go towards them, but suddenly, her dori (back string) loosens.
