The episode starts with Reet asking Anuradha why things always go wrong whenever she tries to do something good. Anuradha responds, and Unnati tells Anuradha that what Reet did this time is wrong. Unnati blames Reet for ruining the Suryavanshi family’s reputation. Reet says this family is hers too, but Unnati disagrees and criticizes her actions.
Meanwhile, Sharda visits Poonam and reminds her that she forgot the divorce papers in her room. Sharda tells Poonam that she doesn’t blame her for their family’s ruined reputation but warns her not to trust Reet so easily. She informs Poonam that she has already taken Viren’s signature on the divorce papers. Now, once Poonam signs them, she will be free from this marriage. Sharda also shares that while signing, Viren kept saying that he couldn’t live without Poonam. Then, she leaves.
Sharda then meets Raghav. Raghav says that what happened shouldn’t have happened, but that doesn’t mean Viren was right. Sharda agrees that Viren was wrong, but she refuses to forgive Reet for her actions.
Reet returns home. Raghav sees her but walks away. Reet gives Poonam a paper and asks her to read the real story. Poonam tears the paper and says it doesn’t matter what Reet thinks. Reet leaves.
The next day, Reet looks for Poonam at home but can’t find her.
Poonam goes to the police station to withdraw her complaint against Viren. Reet tries to stop her and tear the papers, but Raghav intervenes and takes them from Reet. He makes Poonam sign them, and the police release Viren from jail.
Reet angrily tells Raghav that she will never forgive him for this and leaves.
Later, Poonam ties a Rakhi to Raghav and asks him to fulfill her wish as a brother—she wants Viren out of jail.
At the doorstep, Sharda performs an aarti for Poonam and Viren. Raghav warns Viren that if he ever mistreats Poonam again, he will send him back to jail. Sharda assures Raghav that it won’t happen.
Reet then confronts Raghav, asking how he could let Viren go free after what he did. Raghav replies that it was Poonam’s decision.
